About This Project
The project ANFANG aimed at promoting walking, cycling and the use of public transport in everyday life. The target group were families with small children in rural areas. Thereby, the research team conducted interviews with parents and organised workshops with providers of mobility service providers and policy makers. The families talked about their wishes and barriers and potentials with regard to sustainable mobility. Besides, the reasearch team scanned the sustainable mobility services for families available on the market. As a result, measures to promote sustainable transport in rural areas were developed.
