About This Project

The aim of the F & E project ANFANG is to promote walking, cycling and the use of public transport in everyday journeys of families with young children in rural areas. The research team conducts interviews with (expectant) parents and workshops with providers of mobility service providers and policy makers. It will be (i) wishes and barriers, as well as the potentials and barriers to sustainable family mobility raised by (expectant) parents; (ii) explored potentials and barriers to multimodal locomotion, (iii) scanned the sustainable mobility services available on the market for (expectant) families, as well as (Iv) Solutions to how to promote concrete sustainable family mobility in communities.
