About This Project
Current international and national studies and field tests show that the electric transport bike can play a major role as an innovative factor in corporate and private transport logistics. The economic advantages of the transport bike are particularly obvious in cities. The transport bike can therefore make an important contribution to climate protection. Thus, the transport bike has the potential to shift high-emission motor vehicle journeys to e-mobility.

In the KlimaEntlaster project, we link the transport bike with low-threshold rental mechanisms, online tools and elements of the Sharing Economy. With “KlimaEntLaster Centres” we are bringing rolling innovation to three Austrian cities. In this way, city administrations, businesses and private individuals can familiarise themselves with the advantages of the transport wheel.
