About This Project
Around 27% of all motorcycle accidents in Austria occur in curves. In most cases, these are single accidents (about 70%). Numerous studies have shown that the conventional ABS has considerable potential for accident prevention and accident impact mitigation in motorcycles. No studies on the curve ABS are currently available. The aim of the project is to investigate the potential impact of the curve ABS on the accidents of motorcyclists and to investigate the acceptance of these systems by motorcyclists.
