About This Project

MOSAIK: Mobility poverty in Austria – distribution, effects and mitigation measures

Being mobile is an essential prerequisite for participating in social life. Rising energy prices have brought the issue of mobility to the fore and raised the question of the future affordability of (car) mobility. Mobility poverty is mentioned as a buzzword in this context. What mobility poverty is, who is affected by it and how it affects the lives of those affected are just some of the aspects being investigated in the MOSAIK project by scientists and experts from the Factum Mobility Research Institute, the Graz Energy Agency and the Institute of Transport at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences.
