About This Project

Moments stands for the gender-sensitive conceptualisation of an instrument for self-biographical memoirs and memory-straning for people with forgetfulness.

The aim of the research project is to design a digital tool for people with forgetfulness, with the help of which they can record their life biography. The life biography can be recorded by the person in the form of speech, sounds, texts, pictures and favourite pieces of music. The instrument will serve as a memory tool for people with forgetfulness. At the same time, caregivers and therapists can use it in their care. The instrument also supports the sensory experience, is intended as a memory aid and promotes encounters. The instrument is based on an existing language training tool.

In the project, the project team is dealing with questions of the design of the content of the instrument, habits of use and with legal aspects. One legal question will be how to store personal content on a platform so that it can be passed on, for example.
